************Barrington Village Hall Committee Update************
Following the Barrington Village Hall AGM held in April, we would like to share a few updates from the Committee.
Firstly, we extend our sincere thanks to several Trustees who have stepped down from their roles this year:
- Colin Stephens, Vice Chair, who continues to be actively involved in organising this year's Village Fete.
- Phil Roberts, Property Manager.
- Amanda Gould, who has kindly agreed to remain involved as a co-opted member of the Committee and continues in her important role as our Booking Secretary.
We are delighted to welcome three new Committee members. Nick Hemmings, Mark Hoare, and Tom McKnight all put themselves forward for election at the AGM and were successfully voted onto the Committee.
At the Committee meeting in May, Paul Tilbury stepped down as Chair. We would like to thank Paul for his dedication, commitment, and hard work during his time in the role.
We are pleased to announce that Nick Hemmings put himself forward for election as Chair and was duly elected.
We are also pleased to announce that Mark Hoare put himself forward for election as Vice Chair and was duly elected.
The Committee would like to thank everyone who gives their time to support Barrington Village Hall. We look forward to another busy and successful year serving our community and celebrating the Hall's 20th anniversary in 2026.

The village's historic 13th century St Mary’s Church is short distance away, together with a very popular pub, the ‘Barrington Boar’, which also has bed and breakfast accommodation. Close by is the National Trust’s Tudor mansion, Barrington Court.
